Welcome to Kindergarten!
Save the date! If your child will be five by September 1, 2026, then we would love for you to attend Kindergarten Registration on April 16, 2026. Visit between 10 AM and 2 PM. Your Kindergarten child is asked to attend with you.
Before attending Kindergarten Registration on April 16, 2026, the enrolling parent must complete online registration. Online Registration opens on March 16, 2026.
There are two steps to registering your child for Kindergarten.
- Register Online. Visit the GCPS Kindergarten Registration Page to register your rising Kindergarten student. You will be required to submit registration documents. After completing online registration, plan to attend the Parsons Kindergarten Registration event.
- Attend the Parsons Kindergarten Registration event with your child in the Parsons Elementary Cafeteria. Come anytime during the event with your child.

Steps to Register:
- Register your child online at https://www.gcpsk12.org/schools/new-student-enrollmentregistration
- Schedule an appointment with our Registrar, Raiya Troshin, to complete your enrollment and receive a Fast Pass to bypass the line at Kindergarten Registration. If you did not upload your documents during registration, you will need to bring the following (How to Upload Your Documents):
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Form 3231
- Hearing and Vision Form 3300
- 2 Proofs of Residency (See Required Documents on Registration Page).
- Child's Social Security Card
- Parent's Photo I.D.
